After graduating from Pitzer College in 1997, John started working for SOFA entertainment, mixing and editing sound for shows on the Learning Channel, CBS, VH1, and NBC. Building on a strong and diverse background in music as a bass player in many bands, John went on to pursue different avenues within music and sound design for commercials and major motion pictures. With a keen ear for music, and a rare fluency in post production sound, John has created a unique and highly sought-after style in his approach to sound design and music composition.
